2023 - 2024 SEASON : Boston College

I forget what the PWR breakdown is for an OT win but even just for HE standings you want to win at home against a bad UConn team in regulation. Still, very important to just get the OT win and move on.

I liked his answer at 1:40 mark. Every now and then you gotta rip into these guys. And last night's 2nd intermission was the time for that. Hoping for a more complete 60 minutes tonight.

Pretty sure it’s 2/3 of a W.

UConn had many prime scoring opportunities but Fowler was the difference

It's a young team and learning to minimize mistakes in their end and they didn't take the 2nd period off tonight

BC-BU in first round of Beanpot this year seems absolutely criminal. NU bringing up the rear at 2-7 and 0-7 in Hockey East!

Hockey East currently has 6 of top 11 in the PWR. That is impressive. I STILL question UNH but to date they just keep winning. I'm also not completely sold on UMass but a sweep of PC is massive for them. The "dream" of a return of the Big 4 to the Garden is in play.

9-2-1 through the first 12 with the youngest team in the NCAA in a good while and the 6th toughest schedule is pretty freaking good.

Two BIG out of conference games coming up. Not sure why we would ever schedule a game at Notre Dame on the day after Thanksgiving ... and then follow it up with a Harvard tilt on Sunday. If they buckle down and win these two games they will be pretty hard to move below the cut line (pretty hard to see that happening now as it is anyway).

Ya that is an odd scheduling move. If you're playing two games around Thanksgiving why not get one at home. But I think they did this same thing a few years back. I forget what year but it was same thing. At ND and then at Harvard. And then they also did a home and home with ND on one of these weekends.

Going 3-1 against QU, DU, MSU has been huge.

You are not alone.

Great to get the shut out in game two on the road. I am always looking at our GAA as a good sign as to how this team gets tournament ready.

Good to see Armstrong back on the 4th line and on the PK. We need that 4th line to cycle the puck and wear out opponents.

BC charters a plane to ND. They will fly out on Wednesday or Thursday and be home Friday night. Plenty of time to rest up for H on Sunday.

Go Eagles!

Surprised no one mentioned Ambrosio almost pulling off a Mike Legg lacrosse goal on Friday night (you're an absolutely buffoon if you call it "the Michigan", give the guy credit for doing it).

I don't believe any BC player has ever done it in a game.

It's called "The Skoog." : )

This was my second time there but Toscano holds only 2891 seats but sitting there it feels quite smaller than that. Many fans or season ticket holders were miffed that they were left out due to the small capacity. 5000 would be more appropriate although they still play some games at the XL in Hartford.

About now it's ok to at least peak at the PWR. An extremely early hypothetical but let's say QU, BU, BC all end up with #1 seeds and BC is lowest ranked of the three. Hello Missouri! Another stupid regional there and a terrible state for BC hockey. So if you can't catch QU/BU maybe a 2 seed somewhere is more appealing. Again, just something to monitor.

They already selling regional game tickets for Providence and Springfield etc but it’s too early if you’re waiting to see where your team ends up

Of course I would hope BC ends up in the closest regional in providence or Springfield

usually it’s no problem getting tickets ️

they rarely sell out and often not filled to even half capacity in some games
