So why does the firebrand method work so well for don? That total lack of respect method got the primary voters out, and enough general election voters out.

It's not ok for Senator Warren to even be a fraction of what don is???

The Republicans like it for Don because Don is their guy. The voting public likes it for Don because the voting public turned exceptionally dumb these past couple years. The firebrand woman works well within her district because it rallies the troops. It won't work well within the chambers of the Capitol because she's in the minority party and hitting too close to the exact center of the point.

Which is to say that R's will happily be spoken down to (like a child) by a famous guy. But not a women. Awesome.

The R's would accept being talked down to by an R woman. They're authoritarians.

The conservative method of leadership is the pulpit. The liberal method of leadership is the graduate school seminar. Neither side can stand the other's method.

Srsly, I'm arch-liberal feminist and all, but if we're objective nobody east of the Rockies ought to be permitted in front of a camera if we're going by merit. The Eastern gene pool is hopelessly ugly.
