Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers

Sorry. The measure of your right to free speech is not measured by your bank account.

Do you know why corporations and rich people spend all of their cash trying to buy political party? Because it works. The 1% have the power because the 99% are morons.
Wait are you being serious here?

Of course I'm being serious. I don't troll here, and anyone who knows my history realizes that.

If we're really going to have free speech in this country, we don't ask who, or for that matter what, might be offering the speech, or question the content of the speech. The minute we start trying to limit it because of where it originated or what it's about, we no longer have free speech.

It has started to dawn on me as to why everyone here is so up in arms over corporate speech in general and corporate political speech specifically. It has nothing to do with where it originated or how much money they spend on it. It's the effectiveness of that speech. If it wasn't working, none of you would give a rats azz about corporate speech.

Boy are you wrong.

Lol at anyone who equates money with intelligence.

Also if there was ever any question about which party supports fascism...

Hence the problem, when campaigns only listen to the people that give them large donations you end up with a plutocracy.

Huh. Game on. If the Ancient Dems wanted to bury immigration to try to suck up to the Dumpies in the rust belt that aint gonna fly now. With this guy on the stage they won't be able to ignore it, and if they make statements they will have to strongly support Latinos.

This is very good news because it cuts off at the pass attempts to peddle some sort of half-as-sed Third Way nonsense. It doesn't mean we'll get a full-on disucssion of economic justice -- for that we need Liz -- but it does mean we'll have genuinely liberal themes being discussed and not another rerun of Now's That's What I Call the 90s!

Oh, and this also wins every general election from 2030 on, because the GOP reaction is going to be something out of Richard Spencer's wet dreams.
