She waved to someone in the airport right after she took away their healthcare so it's all good!

The question I have for her is this, "Are you ****ing stupid?" Cause this has been her parties position since Obamacare passed.

See, its not that they love their insurance. Its that they fear change and resent being told what to do (ditch their own insurance for the govt one). That's the part these ideas HAVE to consider because again PO the average voter and the Nazi's stand the benefit. I'm not saying this is rational. I'm saying it has to be considered especially since there's a lot of nuances in the "single payer" polling that you site. Its either not well understood or means different things to different people who aren't as passionate about it as you are.

So glad to see you are paying attention and learning :)

I think she might actually be that dumb. Nothing about her or her remarks on literally anything have led me to think, “Wow, she’s intelligent” or even “I guess she got the better of that exchange.”

Sometimes a politician is just stupid and not part of the con.

If I were on SCOTUS, I would declare the removal of the individual mandate to be an unconstitutional action by Congress and order them to put the mandate back. After all, it was the removal that left a (potentially) unconstitutional law on the books.

Maybe in the beginning but not now. She made a lot of hay playing both ends against the middle. Turning a blind eye and being willfully ignorant works until people actually start to pay attention.

She knows what he believes and what he stands for, just like she knows who Bret Kavanaugh is and what he stands for...she just doesnt care.

I agree with this. She spend a career working on her "moderate" persona which the meek and compliant media dutifully reported all the while she's been a conventional knuckledragger 95% of the time. Now that she's getting some scrutiny she seems flabbergasted that anybody is questioning her moderate creds and it's not coming off well for her.

Regarding the lawsuit, nobody got rid of the mandate. Its still on the books. They lowered the tax penalty associated with the mandate to zero for now. Nothing is preventing it from being raised up again by a future Congress.

I didn't think they removed the mandate, they just set the tax to $0.

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-poli...ntucky-medicaid-work-requirement-judge-ruling

A federal district judge has blocked Medicaid work requirements approved by the Trump administration in Arkansas and Kentucky.

Judge James Boasberg, who previously ruled on technical grounds against work requirements in Kentucky, blasted the Trump administration in two decisions Wednesday for failing to consider how many Medicaid beneficiaries would lose coverage under the states’ proposals to require that recipients work in order to receive their benefits. He deemed the approvals of those proposals by the administration to be “arbitrary and capricious” and said that the work requirements could not be allowed to remain in effect.

The rulings are a major loss for the Trump administration on one of its signature health policy crusades: introducing work requirements to Medicaid, the country’s largest health insurance program.

Here I thought the Republicans had no new ideas for Health Care. Here's one. And it's getting shot down by their own Judiciary.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers: Who ISN'T Running At This Point?

The Dems just need to keep letting him make Health Care a big deal...it is a loser for the GOP and they all know it.

Exactly. Let him try to burn it to the ground, while your candidates make a universal system part of their platforms.

All 3 of us agree. That's gotta be a record.

I think there are market solutions to the issue of health care and the free enterprise system is well equipped to deal with this. trump is right. This is a winning scenario for republicans everywhere.
