The traditional American medical provider and insurance system has nothing to do with free enterprise. It is a monstrous spawn of cynical crony capitalism and bribed government artificially stifling competition and rewarding rent-seeking and price gouging. If there was a free market every one of those companies would be bankrupt and every one of their executives and their pet Members would be behind bars for corruption.

Capitalism is great at some things. It's inefficient, callous, and rock stupid in health care.

Then I'm confused- I thought the basis of the current suit was:

A. Roberts only ruled that the ACA is Constitutional because of his interpretation of the individual mandate as a tax
B. There is now no tax
C. Ergo, if the law is not a tax, then Robert's prior reasoning no longer applies, so they think the court would come to a different decision now.

If the tax is still in there (even if it's set to zero), what is the basis for the new suit?

Exactly. The premise would be that any time a tax penalty is suspended (which happens on occasion) the entire law around that tax is unconstitutional. So, if your state has a sales tax holiday one weekend a year, guess what, all sales taxes on unconstitutional!!!

Well, another opening for Democrats. The GOP in Minnesota is rejecting the Paid Family Leave proposal from the Governor. They say it's too costly.

Ah no. I disagreed with him on many (most?) of his policies/enactments particularly on federal overreach. But I did not exhibit the frothing at the mouth that many of the left are doing with the current administration.
