Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers V: Bye Felicia

May I point out that being 1% different when you are at the ceiling of a scale means you are all being squeezed together. There is literally nowhere to go past 100% so you just don't have any "room." 1% difference when you are each in the top 5% means you are differing by TWENTY PERCENT of the available space. That is a huge difference. The scale is attenuated.

But beyond that I think the scaling of the test made no sense. It would have been far better to have a completely different scoring model which allowed an open-ended result. Then correspondence to candidate would have been allowed to float freely rather than be restricted to a highly theoretically problematic and artificial [0 ... 1] range.

And of course that's not even mentioning that alignment politically is multi-dimensional and doesn't work well being projected onto a simple number line.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers V: Bye Felicia

Well it's pretty obviously implied that we're talking in the context of that specific talking point and not every single topic imaginable and yes you'd have to be pretty dumb to make the assessment that they're 1% different from each other at this juncture. It's not even clear whether one of them supports M4A so that alone is a much bigger than 1% difference.

And he literally called me an idiot a few pages back but you said nothing unsurprisingly so maybe take your own advice in that last sentence ;)

You chose to double down. Also why do I need to take my advice of not calling someone else an idiot when it was someone else that said it? :)

Sorry that doesn't fly. One can see reasons for voting for McCain (war record, previous history as maverick, etc) if you were a more conservative Dem. There is ZERO reason for a Bernie supporter to vote for Chump. Its practically treason. They could have either stayed home or voted for Russian plant Jill Stein if they felt that strongly about it.

But........ Trump is a populist too!!!!

No I said that Bernie being five years older than Trump and being in objectively better health isn't going to stick as well as him portraying Warren as being another dishonest elite to the voters of WI, MI, PA etc. We can agree to disagree on that point but no that's not the same thing as what others are doing here where they literally won't even acknowledge it as a potential issue.
When did Trump have a couple stents put in? Missed that.

He didn't. He is a walking heart attack waiting to happen. That's what happens when you live on a diet of cold hamberders and lukewarm covfefe. If you believe the tale he is a 6'3" 239-lb Adonis then you need new glasses.

Sure. But its disengenuous of Trix to claim that Bernie's in better health than Trump. There's nothing to indicate that, and a recent medical event to indicate that's possibly not true.

I can't imagine anybody's health being worse than Dump's, including many corpses.

That fat slob is skating against stochastics.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers V: Bye Felicia

Marianne Williamson raised $3 million in the third quarter.

My campaign didn't raise a dime. Thanks a lot you cheap ********.

He has somehow survived with a rotten core for a long long time. Maybe he's a two-part epoxy. His rotten core is the resin, his self-love the hardener.

Yes, we know Trump is a fat piece o ****, but Bernie is a 78 year old man with coronary artery disease. His health is actually a legitimate concern (although I would take Bernie on his deathbed over Trump any day). If Bernie has a heart attack the day before the election and is in ICU, I’ll still vote for him. This is something that should be considered in a primary though so it doesn’t come to that.

In my opinion Bernie is done.

Good thing stents aren’t the only indicators of peoples’ health lmao.

No, but it’s undeniable proof of coronary artery disease. That plus his age will be a red flag for many. The longer it takes him to recover and get back on the trail the worse it’s going to be for his polling.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers V: Bye Felicia

That can be true and that still doesn’t necessarily mean he’s in worse health than Trump or that Trump attacking him on his health will somehow resonate with the average voter more than what Warren was dishonestly claiming for years.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers V: Bye Felicia

He attacked Hillary on her health and it resonated loudly.

I'm a 15 time marathon finisher with eyes on finishing an Ironman after I get done with grad school. If I ran for President, Trump would find a way to attack my arthritis in my right foot.
