She may run. But she won't get the nomination if we have another decent candidate (as with Mitt and Kerry, the aura of a loser). If we don't have a decent candidate, the Dems won't win under any circumstances.

Fortunate that you are starting to recapture MW state houses. Your bench is getting replenished.

Aura of loser?!?

Bernie is running too you know :)

Hillary, Bernie, Joe Biden, ...

Geez, maybe Liz Warren should run to put a shine of youth to the options ... ;)

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers: Boogaloo

@dick_nixon floated Jerry Brown and Klobuchar.

I still think you need to stay away from the coasts for the top of the ticket.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers: Boogaloo

Jerry Brown is 80. That's a no. Dude ran against Clinton in '92. That's way too old

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers: Boogaloo

Who's young (under 60) and already (or about to be) in office and is not from the coasts.

Why are we excluding the coasts which is where the vast majority of the populace lives? For your criteria Klobacher, Peters in MI, Hickenlooper, and Duckworth in IL come to mind. If you're lenient on age newly re-elected Sherrod Brown who's in his early 60's maybe?

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers: Boogaloo

Beto would be good. My new criteria for president is attractiveness. Looking at Trump makes me want to hurl. We should have a president that is at least as attractive as Trudeau or Macron.

Hillary never stood a chance.

If you want the D candidate for POTUS to win, joe thinks he needs to be from the Midwest in order to break the red wall. The coasts aren't so provincial in the matter, is what I gather he's saying.

He needs to win in Texas (Gov?) first.

No he doesn't. He was a 3-term congressman and lost a heavily red state by 3 points. Him losing Texas doesn't mean he can't win in Wisconsin, Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania, etc.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers: Boogaloo

Some prominent D donors won’t sign up for a candidate until Beto says what he’s doing.

He could also force the GOP to spend resources in Texas that they would rather use in the Midwest.
