2019-20 NMU Hockey Season

Re: 2019-20 NMU Hockey Season

What a game by the Cardiac Cats! I thought once BU went up 4-1 that it might be over, but there wasn't any quit from the 'Cats in the start of that third period. Those two quick goals put the Terriers on the heels for a bit. Nice to see the 'Cats keep the pressure up and buckle down in the third.

Best part was that the BU announcers were *just* talking about the score being 4-1 and how each coach is likely looking to just get through the night and planning for tomorrow. Then their color commentator made a smarmy response of "but, if NMU gets a goal here and makes it a two goal game, then that changes things..." And then the 'cats scored. :D

I said virtually the same thing!

Right now, it means absolutely nothing, but NMU jumped to like #13 in the Pairwise. What matters is being in the final 16 in March.

That being said, I'd like to see a 9 game win streak starting in March and ending in April.

I like this team. Looks like this year's Cats will have to win games ugly, and they are doing what it takes.
