I see Schultz #24 is now on the roster so that's good. I also see that David Keefer, a transfer from MSU, is rostered. I assume he has to sit out this (transfer) year, unless he got some sort of waiver.

Schultz will be eligible at Christmas. Keefer, next year.
D-man James Miller & F AJ Vanderbeck will also start at Christmas & Goalie Connor Ryckman will start next year.

Doesn't UAH have a reduced tuition for family members? If they do, I would bet that may have played some role in Jared going there with Doug coaching. The team would only have to use a partial scholarship to get him a full ride, and thus, freeing up some monies for other players.

Yep, but many/most thought he was going to follow his uncle to Sparty. I think that we got Keith Rowe because they'd been teammates at DCC.

I thought NMU played pretty well. There were a few defensive lapses and the goaltending was only average but not too bad for the first time out. Craighead was fantastic and number 13, which starts with a V I believe, was also very good.
