2019-20 D1 Scores

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

The good news for bc is that they have put 5 shots on goal so far in the first period. The bad news is that they have given 13 shots so far and are down 2-0.

Check that make it 3-0. WisconSIN with the PP goal late in the period. And that's the way it ends...3-0 for the sinners. Shots, I think, are 16-7 but I'm not sure...This game may be heading towards running time. ;)

After a period, it's Wisconsin 3, BC 0. That's a pretty accurate reflection of the play. Even if they aren't up to their usual defensive standards, the Badgers are a matchup nightmare for the Eagles.

And I wish this version of Maddy MacArthur had pkayedyesterday. She looks shaky, and the second goal was really soft.

Wisconsin 3, BC 2 after two periods, but the score flatters the Eagles. Norcross crashed the net to score a nice goal against the run of play, and that set off the first period of sustained pressure BC has had all day. It came to an end after a Badger penalty led to a lifeless power play that gave up the only good scoring chance.

Over the last three periods plus overtime, BC has been outshot 49-17.

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

After 113 minutes, they finally called Wisconsin for interference. Not sure what changed after the previous 43 times they did it.

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

The difference in outcomes for BC was Maddy MacArthur. She was very good against Minnesota. Against Wisconsin she was . . . less good. Not terrible, but she slowed two soft goals that she didn't yesterday.

Wish we didn't give up the ENG but I like the fight.

Bilka left with injury, a win for this weekend would her being alright. She went back out for a shift after but returned to the locker room after... which doesn't sound awful but we'll see.

Are tOSU and Cornell playing hockey or football? Boarding, Unsportsman Like Conduct, 4 Slashing, Holding, 2 Tripping, 2 Roughing, Interference. WOW. 3-1 Cornell after 2.

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

Scoreles after a period in Nashville. Minnesota doesn't look sharp at all, but still leads in shots 15-4. Harvard just lives right in first periods, because Reed dropped The puck in her own crease twice, but no Gopher could get to it.

Cornell's Lindsay Browning with 48 saves and just one goal against? Wow.

Re: 2019-20 D1 Scores

Minnesota 2, Harvard 0 after two. The Gophers don't look great, but they are going to the net. S. Potomak swatted in a waist high missed shot from Knowles for the first, and Woken jammed in a loose puck for the second.
