2018 Midterms 2: I Need A Drink!

Re: 2018 Midterms 2: I Need A Drink!

I'm not all that worried about it. I could see him refusing to attend the new POTUS' inauguration, and not going through with the public WH key hand-off. One way or another though, he will leave power.

If he loses he'll head to Mar-a-Lago by mid-November and never come back. When they have to inevitably pass a last minute bill in the lame duck session, whoever's left in the Cabinet will finally invoke the 25th Amendment so Pence can sign it and hand over power.

Re: 2018 Midterms 2: I Need A Drink!

If I'm Evers, I make clear that that would be one of the biggest mistakes in the history of Wisconsin politics making it clear that it will be difficult to pass anything. And if they pass it, I'd 1) veto every single bill the GOP tried to pass 2) make my term a one man publicity tour of explain in simple terms the criminality of the Republican party. If they change the concept of the governor, he should also. At some point, you have nothing to lose.

I could see that, but it's not who Evers is. And probably not the best long term strategy.

If I'm Evers, I make it clear my administration will not be recognizing the legitimacy of some of those laws if they're passed. Basically dare them to throw the state into constitutional crisis.

Would never happen, I know.

Good call. I can definitely see it.

Evers job is easier than that. Follow the North Carolina model where state legislature knuckledraggers tried the same thing. Problem for them was, Dems won control of the state supreme court. Dem gov sued and and won so Goopers tried a constitutional amendment to 1) add 2 more judges to the court, and 2) make them appointed by the legislature. That lost too.

Evers and fellow Dems need to win the state Supreme Court. Once they do that these laws get nullified and eventually the lines get redrawn to kick a lot of these idiots out.

Re: 2018 Midterms 2: I Need A Drink!

***? Are you serious, you are one of the people that hate America? You want to open the borders and let Socialists take over, destroy the constitution??? Are you serious??? Hey, I'm NOT a Republican, I'm a libertarian, and the GOP has serious issues, but they only 40% of the problem, maybe less, the Democrats are AT LEAST 60% of the problem. They are corrupt, they HATE America, they want to establish Socialism or Communism, they hate God, Dude, what the ****??? They will elect Moslems who cut their little girls genitals, they elect men who abuse their women, they elect women who marry their brothers, they elect anti-semitites, they CHEAT and count non citizens, dead people, etc.. They believe that the ends justify the means, which is NOT what the Bible teaches. I'm not a big fan of institutional religion, but blatent disregard for the Bible catches my attention. Socialism breaks ALL TEN of the 10 Commandments. Don't believe me??? Well, lets chat about it. I doubt you will dare to. You leftists HATE facts and stats and evidence. For you, it's all about feelings and emotions and bull****.

After reading this, doubly sure this is a Russian farmer or bot. No way this is a normal poster.
