Brayden sherbinin transfers to the university of calgary in the CIS. Wonder if this opens up a spot for a late addition.

I think Chris Truehl has to be the favorite. Been in the system for the past year. Has significant D1 playing time at Air Force.

You never know with Rand. My guess... Truehl and Shortridge start the season platooning. As things settle in, the hot hand likely wins the job. With the goalie situation the only real question mark going into the season, Rand won't give anyone a long leash.

I was looking at the schedule, and not trying to put the cart before the horse, but I noticed the ECAC championship dates are listed as Thursday and Saturday this season, rather than Friday & Saturday. If correct, I can't see that helping attendance. Couldn't find anything on the ECAC website to confirm.

Yale and Clarkson schedules have the semis on Friday the 17th and the final on Saturday the 18th. I think QU has it wrong.

There's no such thing as unbearable heat. It's still nice and warm, just the way I like it.

Winter's only redeeming quality is hockey.

Related: It was cool seeing Rand throw out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium yesterday. He threw a perfect strike.

Today is my unofficial start to hockey season... heading up to York Hill for the annual season ticketholder BBQ. Once I have those tickets in hand I know the season isn't far behind. ;)

2000 Defensemen John Campomenosi commits to Quinnipiac. 5'11 160 lbs playing for the 16U NJ Hitmen program. The Hitmen have become a breeding ground of future QU commits.
