West:

1) SNC
2) Adrian
3) UWSP
4) Marian (that is not a typo)
5) UWRF
6) St Scholastica
7) Augsburg

The west will be ranking five teams this year and the East will be ranking 10. I believe the numbers come from the percentages of teams playing in each region.

Just glancing at the number real quick, I'm not in disagreement here. Biggs and I were actually just discussing yesterday how Marian could be in position to make a big stink out west... Who'd've thunk it, eh?

Haven't looked hard enough to figure out all 10 myself, but the top 3 look about right to me.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the NCAA is only ranking 5 western region teams this season. In no particular order, I've got these teams:
SNC
Adrian
Point
UWEC
and either, Marian or River Falls.

Looks like the regional spreadsheets are updated at ncaasports.com, but the rankings aren't out yet...

Plattsburgh's SOS seems much lower than the other contenders, so I am comfortable with my prediction that they will be #3 behind Hobart and Williams.
