I don't know how many innings he does anymore, but he's into the 5th on this one.

The Padres have one hit, and they're getting their doors blown straight into the ocean. 9-0 Dodgers in the 7th.

Aw man, it's 12-0. Vin's probably telling some great stories.

Re: 2016 MLB Season - Curses, foiled again?

The best one was a few innings ago was when he was talking about someone's spinning rims while Kershaw was striking him out at the end of the inning. Vin almost carried that story two commercials into the break. The buffer music was playing. Mr. Scully wasn't having any of that.

Besides, the Dodgers are too busy running around the bases, and the Padres are spending too little time at the plate, for Vin to be telling too many stories. It's amazing that he does this without a color guy.

Clayton Kershaw has as many hits as the Padres: one.

This is likely my favorite sports photo ever. Yankee Stadium with the Polo Grounds in the background.

I don't know why, but seeing this picture reminded me of these illustrations I came across once from 1946 by Gene Mack of the Boston Globe. For the nostalgia fans in particular: http://www.baseball-fever.com/showt...-League-Parks-by-Gene-Mack-Full-Set-of-14#top

These are gorgeous. The Polo Grounds was the most bizarre place ever to host baseball.

Schwarber (Cubs) out for the year with ACL injury. Cub fans may now start their claims of being doomed/cursed, etc. :D

Just pointing out that Trevor Story of the Colorado Rockies has 5 homers in the first 4 games.

Of his MLB career.

Ross Stripling gets yanked in the 8th after 100 routine pitches that didn't get hit. In his major league debut.
