On the right, in the South Bronx (birthplace of my father - 692 Melrose Ave.), you can see Yankee Stadium III. Now follow the road over Macombs Dam Bridge and you'll be on 155th Street. You'll see a subway stop 155th St [B,D]. That housing complex to the left was where the Polo Grounds was. How lucky NYC baseball fans were from 1949 - 1958, when at least 1/2 of the World Series was played in NYC.
It's a long season and anything can happen, so here's to a Cubs - Red Sox World Series being snowed out.
