2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Time to trade Dozier while he's hot. You know dang well a prolonged slump is right around the corner. Lost season so they might as well get Polanco some playing time this year yet.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Mauer has been going so bad the last dozen games that he was pinch hit for by Centeno last night. Maybe it's time to sit him for a game or 2 especially when Sano is back. Nolasco back to being Ricky last night. Got rocked good.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

The Indians have won 14 straight. Twins have won 25 all season. Ouch.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Mauer update:
.045 avg over the last 7 games.
.161 avg and 2 RBI over the last 15 games.
.216 avg and 9 RBI over the last 30 games.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

This Kepler kid could be the real deal. Hits his first ever grand slam today and now has 33 RBI. 5 more than Mauer in less than half the at bats. Vargas is looking good too since being called up. He also went deep today.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Terry Ryan fired. Assistant Rob Antony to take over for now.

It was only a matter of time before someone's head rolled. You have to figure Molitor was going to win out that battle because he's still relatively new and stuck with some lousy talent and simply bad contracts. Those issues roll up to...

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

The Twins did a great job last night, in providing highlights for Boston on Sportcenter!

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Sano cannot field to save his butt. Error today that would of been the third out ended up costing the Twins 4 runs. Brutal.

It's like they are trying to not be the worst team in MLB! What's up with that?

They are trying again. Lost to the worse team in all of baseball last night 2-0. Made Braves starter look like Cy Young. Sano now with over 100 K's on the season. Mauer down to .258 after another 0-4 night. Twins wasted a complete game gem by Santana.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Since the start of the 2013 season, Brian Dozier leads all 2B with 87 home runs. Robinson Canó is next with 84. I would of never guessed that.

Re: 2016 Minnesota Twins -- How Low Can they Go?

Max Kepler has 3 at bats so far tonight. All 3 have been 2 run blasts. Twins have an all star in the making. 14 on the year now. Could be a ROY candidate when all is said and done.
