Russia vs. Sweden $5:p

Re: 2016 IIHF Women's World Championship

That's a pre-tournament exhibition game, and it's Switzerland. Russia is in Group A while Switzerland is in Group B. That said, I concur that the ticket price is laughable.

I don't know if it's laughable, just realistic
Canadians who really love hockey may shell out $5 to go see the game,
if they are not already gamed out from watching Team Canada

It's even "worse" than that...ie: $5/ticket.

For any Americans attending, right now that's about US$3.75/ticket.

So, for the price of about 2 bags of licorice you can attend an Olympic quality women's hockey game. Hahaha.

Reminds me of a trip to Las Vegas in '78. Tickets to see Rodney Dangerfield cost us US$3.75 each. We sat 10 feet from the one foot high stage he was on, (so it was like he was standing in our living room), and the price included two drinks!! To top it off he was tremendous. That was a no brainer on steroids.

If it would have been possible to store them I would have bought in volume.

So is there any coverage online for Russia vs Finland today? USA will be on NHL network tonight at 7:30 yes?

yeah, but when you adjust it for the quality of the hockey, it's back to $5
5 bucks American = $3.50 CAN

Russia/Swiss hockey game = .73 of US/CAN hockey game

ooooh, burn

Re: 2016 IIHF Women's World Championship

After three (out of five) days of games, France and Germany are both 3-0 in the standings of the Division I Group A tournament being played in Denmark, with the winner being promoted to the Top Division for the 2017 Women's World Championship.

Those two teams square off against each other tomorrow (Tuesday) at 4:30 p.m. locally (GMT+2) / 10:30 a.m. ET / 9:30 a.m. CT / 7:30 a.m. PT. The winner will control their own destiny going into the final game day on Thursday (when Germany faces Austria and France plays Denmark).

At the other end of the standings, Slovakia and Norway are in danger of being relegated to Division I Group B. Slovakia is 0-3 so far, and Norway has only 1 point on a shootout loss. They play each other on Thursday.
