I was in the Scottish Islands a couple of years ago in May. it was maybe 50, for a high temp. The guys there were playing golf in shorts.

Any BG guys want to comment on the news from today?

Not even going to speculate. The team will be fine. It's a chance for someone else to step up and earn quality playing time.

Well, we did win regular season titles in the CHA in 2001 and 2003, so that's two. ;)

Well if the BG game against Windsor is what the new WCHA penalty crack-down is going to look like teams better practice 5 on 3 's.

30 penalties called and 19 powerplays. There were six 5 on 3's and numerous 4 on 3's. Game was almost unwatchable to be honest.

I agree to try to remove the blatant obstruction, but many of the calls were just a joke.....complete farce of a hockey game.

Oh and BG won 3-2 playing their 3rd string goalie the entire game.

22 penalties for 20 power plays for UAA vs. Simon Fraiser. Nothing new for us.
 
And the WCHA is off and running. Congrats to UAH on the win. Biscuits for everyone to make up for throwing off the picks !

UAH is now 1-0-0 in games where I'm on a trans-Atlantic flight. I volunteer as tribute but will wait for the game to show up on-demand.

Now the big question is whether the Chargers can come back and come away with six points.
