Not sure about that ranking interesting

ND went 0-1-1 on the weekend and QU got swept, so Lowell beating a ranked team and then losing on the 2nd night doesn't surprise me too much that they stayed put. Last week's 6th and 8th ranked teams jumped them and then number 7 Minnesota got swept by SCSU, so here we are.

I will say that I would like to see Colgate and SLU go to Minnesota and get two Ws this weekend...

A nice win by the Men's Soccer team today.

Curious as to what Norm is thinking in net for this weekend. I think there were a couple of goals Wall would like to have had back from Saturday, and not sure if that was him getting tired from playing basically 4 games in a row? Does Hernberg get another shot on Friday, or do we potentially see the debut of Metcalf?

Re: 2016/2016 Lowell Thread: Hoping for Chicago

Three big games this weekend for Lowell sports.

Good luck to the boys out in Omaha this weekend.

Also, good luck to Men's Soccer. Tomorrow night they play Albany, who is tied with them for first in the AE standings. Their remaining games are both at home, and they have a chance to win the AE regular season title for the first time in history (not bad for four years into the league). Go win it boys! I'll be there on Wednesday to see Senior Night.

Cleary in net tonight on his birthday.

Cleary in net tonight on his birthday.

And after two Omaha powerplays, it's not a good birthday as Lowell is down 2-0 early (2 goals on 4 shots). Time for Cleary to go eat some birthday cake and put Wall in.

And more penalties. This season is getting ridiculous with these penalties, the BC/PC game had one called on PC right off the opening faceoff pretty much. Crazy.

And Omaha does those stupid fake tv timeouts when there's no tv, dragging the game out even more on top of it being unnecessarily being drawn out because of the penalty calling.

Lowell down 2-1 at end of the first. Shots are 13 for Lowell and 5 for Omaha.

Bob and Jim puzzled by what's a penalty and what isn't. Campbell called for tripping near end of period and they said the Omaha player basically skated into Campbell's stick and fell down, penalty called. Campbell was chatting with ref at end of period trying to get clarification on why a penalty was called. Crazy.

Jim feels Lowell dominated 5 on 5 but struggled on PK.

Great, another pp goal for Omaha, now 3-1 Omaha. When will the penalty madness end!

Wall, please? And can Lowell please find a way to kill penalties?

And Omaha about to go on their fifth powerplay of the game...they're 3 for 4 on the powerplay tonight so far.

3-1 Omaha. A third PPG for Omaha. Cleary couldn't control a rebound. Lowell takes another penalty.
