2016-17 Schedules

Re: 2016-17 Schedules

Don't Fridays and Saturdays get flipped in the second half of the season compared to the first half.

They flip the order on a per-season basis, not a per-semester basis. Last year, Plattsburgh played Fredonia Friday and Buffalo Saturday, both semesters. This year will be the opposite.

If there is any rhyme or reason to who hosts which semester, I can't see it by analyzing the last 7 seasons... Other than BPT/GEN always being opposite of FRE/BST for Plattsburgh (thus avoiding 2 long trips in one semester). Maybe if I look at a longer sample I'll see a pattern...

Was that before or after the broken Interlock??

After - before the interlock broke up you played everybody once. In the interlock days it was a four year cycle. Year two flipped sites from year one, year three matched year one with Sat/Sun flipped, year four flipped sites from year 4.

I know :). Redlight's time at Salem State spanned the before and the after was at Williams. I like the after, but for the NEHC schools it dumped 4 no count games on the D-III schools.

Potsdam schedule:

Potsdam's schedule matches Plattsburgh's schedule for the last weekend of the season. So, it does appear that the error is in Brockport's schedule.

But they list Buffalo State three times. That makes no sense...

I keep finding oddities -- both games against Plattsburgh have different dates than what Plattsburgh lists.

LVC's schedule in their first year back in the NCAA:

Schedule

Only real out of conference highlight is at Geneseo (SUNYAC) on January 13. Other than that they play two at home vs. Stonehill (NE10), at Daniel Webster (Ind.), at SNHU (NE10), at Brockport (SUNYAC), a home-and-home vs. Post (Ind.) and two at Buffalo State (SUNYAC).

Buffalo State and Brockport weren't terrible last year.

Also check out the conference acronym. ECHA. Looks like the ECAC West is no longer....

Noticed that. Hobart and Stevenson's schedules both still say ECAC West.

Here's Stevenson schedule by the way:

Schedule

Out of conference schedule is similar to LVC's, minus the DII schools.

The only remaining new program yet to announce their schedule is Post, who's playing as an independent this year.

vs. Stevenson 3 times with last game non-league? Stevenson's schedule shows the same. That's odd.

Re: 2016-17 Schedules

First round of the 52nd Annual Codfish Bowl will be UMass-Boston (NEHC) vs. Connecticut College (NESCAC) and Franklin Pierce (NE10) vs. Salve Regina (CCC) on December 29th. Two teams that made the NCAA Tournament last year vs. two teams that had a combined 7 wins last year.
