With the advent of the Commonwealth Coast Conference, really interested to see when their schedules will be announced. I feel as though this will be a huge adjustment for the UNE fans coming this next season. Seems as though most of the schools in the new CCC don't control their own ice and will not be able to schedule weekend games. Also interested in seeing if there will be travel partners. Lots of questions will very few answers coming.

Can I say again that as a fan of UNE Hockey, I am going to miss seeing Norwich, Babson, UMass Boston come to the Alfond. Still looking forward to continued success, however.

I'm hoping UNE and Norwich find themselves on each others schedules in the near future, whether it be a non-conference game or the Northfield Savings Bank Holiday Tournament.

I am assuming (dangerous, I know!) that the Commonwealth Coast Conference hockey schedules are complete since Curry College has posted their schedule on their site. I notice a lot of week night games. It also appears there are no travel partners. This schedule may take some getting used to!

I am hopeful that UNE keeps Bowdoin, Colby and USM on their schedule, can't imagine they wouldn't. That combination could make for a pretty good Beanpot style tournament with lots of tradition between the schools. Could make for an interesting couple of nights in Portland with the Cross Insurance Arena (formerly the Cumberland County Civic Center) having some open dates now the that the AHL Pirates have gone.

In any event, looking forward to another interesting year at the Alfond beginning in late October.
