12:30pm on a Monday is tough (esp. for a lesser tournament). I DVR'd the game for later and I'm catching up on the tweets now on my lunch.

Huge win for the U.S., and it was not a fluke. No question: the better team won today.

I certainly didn't. Look good so far but the tournament is far from over. But a win over Russia is nice, especially since they're going to freak out now...

Absolutely huge win for the USA. Russia was ranked #1 and favored to win the championship.

Smart move by Todd Richards to split Eichel and Vesey, and now both of their lines are scoring. IMO the lineup now looks deep and awesome...they can roll all 4 lines and strike at the net.

Some drastic changes in third edition of the 2015 IIHF Power Rankings. USA has moved from 6th (May 1) to 3rd after upsetting Finland (May 2) and are now 2nd after upsetting #1 Russia. Both Campbell and Hellebuyck have been outstanding in net against some of the best competition of the tournament so far. USA currently leads all 16 teams in goaltending (SV% 94.29, GAA 1.33).

Canada, Sweden and the USA are the only unbeaten teams @ 3-0. Canada and the USA each have 4 GA, but the Canadians lead all teams in scoring with 22 GF vs 11 for USA. Canada padded their GF with a 10-0 win over Germany.

Next Game: USA (#2) vs Belarus (#9), Thursday, May 7th, 10:15AM EDT.

Are you in a different country? It says it's blocked in the US.

I'm trying to watch some of the other games and those are also blocked, which is stupid. NBCSN is only playing US games despite holding the rights, so I'm blacked out of the rest of the tournament?

Yep. I wish I had more to add to that because I tried to watch on Youtube as well and got blocked and I did not feel like installing a VPN just to watch Canada-Germany for 30 minutes.

Yeah, I'm at a Kung Fu training center in Thailand right now. Sorry about the block...ridiculous. I'm accessing free streams from websites with servers outside of the US and can see all the games. I think it might work for you too. Check your messages.:)
