2015 D1 Post - season Scores and Results

Re: 2015 D1 Post - season Scores and Results

WOW. Congrats to the Beavers.
Are you sending them a thank-you gift? ;) It doesn't clinch anything for Clarkson, but it definitely increases the number of scenarios that would return the Golden Knights to the dance.

If RIT/Cuse wins CHA and gets shipped to Minnesota I'm going to be an unhappy camper.

Our own fault though, <strike>losing to</strike> tying BU.

Re: 2015 D1 Post - season Scores and Results

RIT leads 3-1 about halfway through the 3rd period.

Wow... Top seed is going to have a virtual bye to Ridder

I wouldn't go that far. Ali Binnington and her class won a national championship in their last year at D-III. They know what it takes to win, and Binnington is a really strong goalie.

I was taking bets on who the first person to give me the "oh everyone's just terrific; no one is an easy out" response and you definitely pulled the upset. The odds on it being ARM were like 1:4!

I've watched the game long enough to know it's true. Who would have thought, for instance, that Bemidji would beat Minnesota this year? Looking at the men's game, who ever thought my alma mater, Holy Cross, would beat Minnesota?

Besides, it's true that no one is an easy out. When a team gets to the tournament, it is generally well tested.

I'd never say that. Consider the postseason records of the senior classes of the following programs:
Minnesota (22-1);
RIT (14-1);
BU (13-3);
BC (7-5).
Obviously, some teams are far easier outs than others.

Well the NCAA committee won't be able to use the Mercyhurst is a "West" team excuse when shorting the WCHA this year.
