I'm amazed though. After the previous outrage about Canadiens getting hit (even resulting in jammed 911 lines and a criminal investigation lasting months) not a single word in the Montreal media decrying the violence. I thought their outrage was genuine! What a surprise to find it only applies when their players are getting hit...

One headline in Montreal says that Prust evened things up and the "victims" are now one aside. This passes for journalism up there.

The pacing that the NHL set for this past week was terrible.

My team is one of the 4 remaining and I barely know that the playoffs are happening.

They're even with the NBA schedule. That's pathetic given hockey started a week or so earlier.

seems like the nhl has copied the spaced out nba playoff scheduling...not a fan. these games should be every other night with possibly two days off when heading to different city.

But then they can't maximize how many games get broadcast by NBC. :rolleyes:

It's a long, grueling season. I wonder if the players aren't OK with some extra days of rest at this point.

I didn't like it. Not with a Marine standing next to him. And I don't think he did a very good job.
