I just hope the Gophers make it through this hangover after letting their foot off the pedal in that second game against UMi this past weekend.....what a bunch of quitters and the coaching staff should be flogged for sitting Wilcox. :D

All seriousness, looking forward to a fun weekend of hockey! Coming down Thursday evening for the night game to find out who the Gophers will play and taking a half day on Friday to come participate in the tailgating festivities! Can't. Wait!

I wish I could go, but I'm going to my cousin's wedding in Texas this weekend. What kind of person schedules a wedding during hockey season? Oh, right, someone who did their undergrad at State.

Please, dear God, let my team finish with a winning record against PSU this year.

I'm thinking the last game my have shaken up Shibby so if we need him again this season he'll be ready this time. That and we can't coast anymore or we lose a banner. The women set a high standard that I want to see matched.

My sister... True story, she was planning her wedding and was talking about dates. I said April 6th is the day of the NCAA championship game. Keep in mind this was 9 months prior to the event and I had no idea the Gophers would be in it, but I had tickets and had gone every year since 1989. She picks the day, and of course it's 4/6. the game is in St. Paul. The time for the ceremony was 4pm in Minneapolis, and the championship game was at 7.

I did what any self-respecting Gopher/College Hockey fan would do. Went to the ceremony. Bolted before the receiving line. Blew off the reception and got to my seats just as they started the Anthem.

Oh yeah, this was in 2002. A good year!!!

Don't know of any real plans for tailgating for the Regional... there might be something in line, but nothing like the Final 5/B1G parties.

Does anyone know where I could find the TV ratings to the BTN or ESPN when covering Big 10 hockey? I watch almost every B10 game on TV and how does it compare to the ratings vs CBS and NBCSN.
