Rough weather in Seattle is causing havoc on the ESPN broadcast of Washington and Arizona State.

As they chant at the soccer games in Seattle "Seattle sunshine!" (Ok it's really the wind)

Coaches poll is out.

1. Ms St. 2. FSU 3. Bama 4. Auburn. 5. MSU

I would like to know how Auburn jumps Michigan State after struggling at home with a shoddy South Carolina team. Not that any of it matters with the new poll coming out Tuesday, but still.

Anyone see the OL for Arkansas throwing a TD against UAB? I completely forgot the Bielema doesn't have a conference win by beating up on a pansy.

I don't have a problem with the rankings. The committee said they aren't projecting towards the end of the year, they're doing it based off of what's happened so far. Going off that criteria, their only poor choice is Ole Miss.

1. MSU South
2. FSU
3. Auburn
4. Ole Miss
5. Oregon
6. Bama
7. TCU
8. MSU
9. K-State
10. Notre Dame

I'm content at the moment... Ole Miss could be exposed this weekend... If they beat Auburn, it goes a long way in justifying things...

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

at first i also questioned ole miss since their loss came against a two loss team, but at the same time...they play auburn this weekend. if ole miss loses that or loses to miss state at end of the year, they are out anyway. win both of those games and they would deserve to be in.

Re: 2014-2015 College Football Thread: A New Era Begins..

I figured it would be the way they have it. If you drop Ole Miss, who do you slot in there? An Alabama team that lost to Ole Miss? Oregon who lost to Arizona?

As has been said, Ole Miss will either validate their position, or lose it entirely in the coming weeks. Still a bunch of unknowns.
