A small change to the Princeton, Yale, Merrimack and UConn schedules. The Liberty Hockey Invitational will now be a Friday-Sunday event as the Devils have a home game scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1

Re: 2014-15 schedules

Pencil in UMASS/UCONN for November 7th/8th; I'm not sticking it up there because I don't know where, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a home/home given their proximity.

Re: 2014-15 schedules

No press release, times TBA, link on the page still links to the old schedule....looks like the University wasn't ready to go live with this yet. Ooops.
ETA: Oh, and it lists Canisius as a Hockey East opponent...

Press release is up and the like is active. Canisius is still a hockey east opponent...oops

Re: 2014-15 schedules

They are four games short.

Plus a typo. I believe the Jan 16-17 games should be against Bemidji State and not Bowling Green.

The Michigan Tech vs. LSSU series go moved from October 17-18 to October 4-5. Not sure the reasoning if both teams end up with that weekend open.

Re: 2014-15 schedules

There is still a way for Air Force and Canisius to not play four times, so I cannot predict the remainder of the four game series in the AHA.

AIC - 2 left
SHU - 1 left
AFA - 3 left
CAN - 3 left
MER - 2 left
NIA - 1 left

When another AHA schedule is determined, predictions should be able to be made.

Start the season off with a bang, mayhaps?

Re: 2014-15 schedules

Pencil in Air Force/Canisius for 27-28 February. Where is beyond me, so we won't stick it up on the SS yet.

AIC/Canisius MAYBE on 5-6 December; same caveat applies.

AIC/Niagara? I'm think 14-15 November.

How about throwing two of AIC/SHU/Canisius on 7-8 November. Which two? I'd venture a guess to one of them being Sacred Heart.

24-25 October is also an opening for AIC/Canisius. Could this be a sign?

Maybe if I speculate enough about AIC's schedule, they'll be next to report. :D

I've speculated a few things (most of them have been covered by you above) in my AHA schedule. see my signature for the link

Re: 2014-15 schedules

Here's a question I've never thought of asking until now: Can you do play-down exhibition within the NCAA? Or has it ever been done? As in, basketball is allowed to play teams from NCAA D2 to NAIA for exhibition. I'm going to assume the answer is no, because I can't recall seeing it anywhere.

I think it would be interesting to see MSU take on Adrian one of these years rather than Windsor or Western Ontario.
