2014-15 College Football Part II: SEC vs World

Re: 2014-15 College Football Part II: SEC vs World

The Big Ten needs to get out of the shadow of Bo and JoePa and Osborne. Those days are gone. Right now it's Meyer, Dantonio, and that revolving door at Wisconsin that keeps putting up 10 wins a season.

RIP SEC.

Hmm, the Big Ten had a great day and is getting big praise, yet Michigan didn't play. It's almost like they didn't need to be back and the Big Ten just needed its current top three programs to perform well.

That's what I've been saying too. As long as it's a next man up mentality, the big ten would be fine. But NOOOOOOOOO... We are so mortgaged in OSU and Michigan when they are down, we're all down.

Lol. Ohio State is the only B1G team that won a game that mattered today.

Just sayin'...

It's interesting watching Fox Sports Live's coverage as its very much more West Coast oriented compared to ESPN.

Re: 2014-15 College Football Part II: SEC vs World

After what happened at UAH and this year at UAB, I can't ever want UAT to win. Even against that team down south. So this was a good outcome.

Re: 2014-15 College Football Part II: SEC vs World

Just recalled that last year, the BCS championship game would have been fsu-uat, who both lost to the team that would have gone to the Rose Bowl.

A Pac 12-Big 10 Championship Game. It's an East Coast sportswriter's nightmare.

That makes no sense. East coast sportswriters have always thrown the Big Integer a bone because the weather in Columbus and Ann Arbor is as harsh as New York and Boston, and those doofy, white, hulking Pollocks and Slavs remind them of when football relevance was all east of the Mississippi and north of the Potomac. And the Pac 12 gets a pass because Notre Dame plays USC and the Rose Bowl was always the altar where Michigan or OSU would get sacrificed to USC or UCLA.

ECSWs hate the SEC and the Big 12.

Note: ESPN doesn't count; they just fluff the flavor of the week, which for the last decade was the SEC, and thank Christ that's over.

Slightly tempered by the suspicion that they're all rapists, but, well done, gentlemen. Mock him right in the blowout.

It hard to keep up with which biases are acceptable around here. ;)

In a display of the absolute difference in school and coaching class, these players will be disciplined.

Just a simple display getting quick action vs alleged crimes being drawn out to nothing.

What they did was wrong and taunting. But so much less than what the opponents did. But action vs ignore speaks a lot of the two programs.
Disciplined internally is code for no real consequences and they will play in the title game.

Re: 2014-15 College Football Part II: SEC vs World

That's what I thought you were doin'. Nice B1G and program win for MSU as well ;).

Oh... don't be butthurt. All of the other bowls are marginalized now - not just the one that MSU won.

I was happy that Bucky won yesterday and had a great time watching it - as did Badger fans everywhere I'd imagine.

That's the extent of our game's impact though on the national level.

Here's hoping for a 16 team playoff and soon.

Bingo.
While I thought it was funny (really funny!) I was very happy to see Oregon do/say something.
