Im assuming you're talking about when Keenan Lewis was hurt, the eagles fans are booing because they think the saints defense is faking injuries to slow down the eagles offense...

i figured that but it's not like the eagles were gashing them at that point. it was just your average run of the mill incompletion. guess i gave them too much credit.

oh and rob ryan playing man to man on desean jackson with a backup corner. that's smart.

It's 37 yards for a FG from there. Are the Saints really going to just settle for something like that to win it?

The NFL really shouldn't allow the media into the locker rooms. There's not gain to it, other than to annoy the guys as they're getting out of the showers. It's easy enough to get their canned responses when they walk out into the halls.

ok packer fans, just saw a segment about eddie lacy's asthma and how it really gives him issues in the cold. obviously a concern today when the wind chill will be negative infinity

I just went out and took down the outdoor Christmas lights and my face was numb and speech was slurred when I came back inside.

It's not even cold yet and gonna be worse by kickoff.

Can't imagine going to this game as a fan let alone playing out there today.

I'd rather be a player than be someone in the stands just sitting or standing there. At least the players will be moving and will (likely) have portable heaters there for when the hypothermia and frostbite set in.

But no alcohol.

Not being a native Wiscovite, I went to my only Packers game several years ago on the last weekend in December. About 10 degrees with some wind and those Lambeau fans were drinking beer bare fisted like it was July 4. Hunched over my hot chocolate with the cold wind making my eyes water, I could hardly see the field. Stiffer stuff than I'm made of, those fans.

Drunker stuff, maybe. Alcohol can work to help reduce your body's temperature, thus easing the body's way into a hypothermia situation. It's part of the reason alcohol makes you feel warmer when you drink it in this weather.

I'm expecting to hear some frostbite stories coming from the stands after the game's finished.
