Correct. Teams like Green Bay this year have proven themselves worthy of being in the NFL playoffs over the last decade. That's why I would be in favor of expanding the playoffs to 8 teams/conference.

Also, I wouldn't call a 7 loss team an "exception." 52 teams with 7 or more losses have made the NFL playoffs since 1990. That's over 2 teams/season. Hardly an "exception."

After watching Josh Gordy play at Central, I never would have figured he'd be the one to save the game for anyone.

I guess I feel like Super Bowl capable teams add value to the playoffs. FWIW, I think its inevitable that we get to 8 teams/conference, but I think they will move to 7 teams first. How many years until that happens? My guess is within 5.

Ultimately, I'm glad we're back to talking about football instead of politics...which was my main goal in bringing this topic up. :p:D:D

I'm noticing a lot of Eagle fans already celebrating the collapse of KC. I never understood the searing hatred Eagles fans have for Andy Reid. Sure, his last three years were poor. However, he got you to the NFC title game a ton of times and to the Super Bowl once. Guy doesn't deserve half the crap he gets.
