Absolutely everyone has the freedom to say whatever they want. But to think that dumb **** that they say won't or shouldn't be held against them is a complete misunderstanding of what "freedom of speech" actually means.

In fact, even intelligent, well thought out and nuanced things are often held against people. Know your audience.

Of course. Everyone has to deal with the repercussions of their own actions. That may include Mike Priefer REALLY soon.

Intelligence isn't valued in this country. More often than not, it's mocked.

As for the Robertson supporters that think Kluwe should shut up, one can't have it both ways.

Cutler gets 7-yrs at 17.6M (estimated) per year? Go home Bears, you're drunk!

He'll be 31 before the start of the season and he has not produced anything but injuries at inopportune times for Chicago during his time there.

He might be a good fit for the offense, but not at that length and cost. :(

Of course, if he should get fired, we'll be hearing from Sarah Palin and her ilk again about how the Vikings are violating his "freedom of speech".

The Bears signing Cutler is the best thing that's happened to the Packers all season.

She got a degree in communications, just like you did. And Dude, you attended SCSU - it's not exactly MIT, so mocking her school isn't really going to get you anywhere. Trust me, I know.

Who mocked her school? She can see Russia from her back yard. There's no recovering from that.

I sincerely hate everyone responsible for this thread somehow thinking that Palin was worth talking about.
