Lots of our favorite collegiate players heading to Canada to extend the hockey season a little bit longer for us fans. Thought it would be good to talk about our fave teams and players!

Anyone know if any of these games will be streamed?

Russia stepping up their women's program with GM Yashin?

Yes, I believe that happened earlier this year... maybe even late 2012... can't remember. I believe some new coaching staff, too Hopefully it will mean good things for the development of women's hockey over there, especially with home ice Olympics comingup in Sochi.

Can us Stateside peeps access TSN with US IP addresses?

Probably not, as TSN is a subscriber only type channel. You may be able to buy access, not sure of that.

I'll be there live for some of the games :)

Check out some of the tabs at the top of their home page...just tried to find the answer for you which I think is, no, but too complicated for me...gotta go sharpen my chisel with my stone.

Hmmm...Alexei Yashin coming back to Ottawa....In Ottawa, the two most hated Ex-Sens players are Yashin and Heatley. They were both pretty much run out of town. Yashin was the first ever pick for the expansion Ottawa Senators back in the '92 draft. A player with great skill nicknamed "The Russian Bear". He always wanted more money, but never delivered when it counted.

Lots of ECAC players in this event. Mostly current and former Cornell and Harvard players, and a sprinkling from other teams.

Re: 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey Women's World Championship

Not arguing, just sayin'.

Sayin' what, exaclty.

So what. Some great Team USA'ers on the Gophs, Badgers... and I'm sure others that should chime in here.

Hell, They should just send the Gopher WIH squad into the tourney as far as I'm concerned. With Raty, Jarulsolo, Davis, etc. You know, the "foreigners"

There's still cuts coming, so it is a bit of wait and see.

Two of my D had to good fortune to play with her on a couple of occasions. She was already good at a young age.

Re: 2013 IIHF Ice Hockey Women's World Championship

Sales for individual tickets, including those at the Nepean Sports Plex for Pool B are now available online.

http://www.hockeycanada.ca/en-ca/Team-Canada/Women/World-Championship/2013/Tickets.aspx

I happen to have a ticket to the April 2nd Finland-Swiss game that I cannot use, conflicts with the Czech game I'll be attending.

Free to anyone who is interested. It is in section 110. Leave a Rep Message or USCHO e-mail if you plan to be in town and interested. Face value is $25.
