How are they a fraud team?
They played the schedule put in front of them and went unbeaten, what more do you want?

I don't disagree with you, but I would point out, their schedule is of their own making. They have no conference games that they are "forced" to play.

So it wasn't really put in front of them, as it was crafted for them.

I love how when the Fox had the BCS rights that the mothership would clamor for BCS buster like Boise State and TCU. Now that they got the rights back, they screamed bloody murder about Northern Illinois. Another reason to despise the wretched channel.

She already graduated, so that might be pointless. :)

And no, I don't feel the least bit bad about helping throw off the topic of this thread, with how this game is going.

Right. And for the record, ND deserves to be here for going undefeated. But that doesn't mean they are better than a handful of other great teams out there. Not every team would be down 21-0 right now.

It is crafted to a point, but it's not like they play a whole new set of teams every year, they do play a lot of the same squads (Michigan, Michigan State, USC, Navy, Stanford, etc) every year.

The bottom line is they have the advantage of not having to play a set conference schedule.

Maybe, but it's not like they've been destroying teams for the past 30 years doing that, and it's also not like there aren't some serious cupcakes in the SEC for teams like Alabama to beat up on either.
Blasting them for "choosing" their schedule seems really weak to me.

Ok if ND played bama's schedule, would they only have one loss? And if bama played nd's schedule, would they not be undefeated?

And the fact they haven't taken advantage of the scheduling in 30 years shows how irrelevant they have been.

It's not impossible they'd have only one loss and yes Bama would likely be unbeaten.
