Add to that a top O-line only losing one starter, a QB yet to lose, and a running back package featuring Barry Sanders Jr. Only 8 months until the season starts!

I'd prefer ND to win a very close game, preferably in OT, so we can see the talking heads discuss how such a close game means Alabama is still the best team and deserves the NC.

I'm young enough where cheering for the Irish doesn't give me hives. I was too young to remember when they last won the title. Have no problems cheering for the Irish over Alabama. I will be surprised if Notre Dame wins. You just don't beat Nick Saban and Alabama when they have a month to prepare.

Sick of the mothership cramming the conference down the nation's throat. I'd love to see them get knocked down a peg. I got family members that despise Notre Dame, but I want the Irish to win tonight.

You don't think the Mothership will shove Notre Dame down people's throats? Plus the NBC/SN stuffing it down our throats while we're watching college hockey?

That was horse crap as was the attempt at an explanation for the penalty by that official they asked offscreen.
