Del Rio (DEN) and whoever the DC is in SEA is being talked about here in MN on the local sports station. Also MN's special teams coach.

Wisenhunt (SD) has come up in passing, too.

Whisenhunt or Del Rio wouldn't be too bad. Since it's the Lions, though, I hope we're not having this conversation again in 2-4 years.

Saw on ESPN's ticker that the Lions are interviewing Ravens' OC Jim Caldwell. That wouldn't be a bad choice either.

Dungy would be a great pick I think. and he's sorta thrown his hat into the ring there. Question is are the Fords going to send a Brinks Truck to go get him?

If the turnovers and dumb play doesn't stop, I'll say 6-10, third in the NFC North.

I hate to prejudge a guy I know nothing about, but in all the pics Caldwell sure has the deer-in-the-headlights look down pat. So maybe he IS somewhat prepared for this job.

Hubbub is the Titans ponied up more cash (possibly too much,) Whisenhunt was worried about our cap being tied up in Stafford/Megatron/Suh, and he didn't want to pick up the 3-4 defense.

I don't care who the coach is, I won't get excited, enthusiastic, energized, or engaged with the Lions until I see another 10 win season. Hope that's within my lifetime. They have only had six (6) 10 win or better seasons in the last 56 years. 10 wins, that's all I'm asking. A Super Bowl with the Lions in it is beyond my comprehension.
