Given the number of times that future broad street bully has dove, he probably deserved it. As for 2 minutes for sucking, we've been doing that for decades, and to all teams, not just you. And what would RPI have to gain from starting a fight? Bodie threw the first punch. Quit being a whining baby.

Because he is a class act and is accountable. Right, wrong or somewhere in the middle that is what you would expect from a coach like him.

I just watched highlights on local news. The game ended in RPIs end and their bench cleared most likely in celebration. Both teams started to mix it up immediately the problem being Union players were badly outnumbered when the hostilities got in gear.

Really? I'd argue Brook Hicks. What was he doing near the blue line with Bodie anyways? Shouldn't he be near the net celebrating with his goalie?

RPI won the faceoff and the puck went into the corner. Brock Higgs should have retreated down low or played conservatively, but no, with 1.7 seconds left he charges towards Bodie near the blue line. The cross-check was not ok, but Higgs shouldn't have been up in Bodie's grill.

He was skating forward to block a possible shot should Union have won the faceoff and got the puck to Bodie. I didn't know you weren't allowed to get yourself into position to block a shot. Once he saw the puck went tot he corner, he eased up, and that's when Bodie cross-checked him to the head. Or do you understand zilch about player positioning for quick shots?

Neither teams look good but there's no way you can blame Union for this without putting equal blame on RPI. At one point there were three RPI guys going against Ghostisbehere all the way across the ice from the scrum. Neither team comes out smelling like roses and anyone who thinks any different is strongly misguided.

%100 agree here with 1 exception....the reason for so many RPI players was it was in front of their bench and they were coming over the boards to celebrate. It's a shame this game ended the way it did because, getting back to hockey, it was a great hockey game.

Look at the playoff series two years ago when Curadi goes to our celebration to throw down.

I'll gladly give you guys this game tonight when we're in the NCAA's in March and you're on the USCHO chat throwing around lame #26 rants and talking about how awful Union is.
