Ok, my pre-game worries for this game:
- Stevens looked tighter than a banjo string against BC and has his worst game in 3 months.. will really need a bounce back tonight.
- Minnesota is easily the deepest, most balanced team with skill that U has faced all season. U won't grind them down like some others.
- What the Gophers did to SCSU in the regional finals scares the crap out me. Wilcox is a very good goalie and they don't give up many chances close to the net. U needs to get a goal early to get confidence on the O-end.

Other than that :rolleyes:, I'm psyched as hell for the game. Goooooooooooooooooooooooooo U!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone seems to forget that the gopher wins in the end. :D

That being said, everyone, best of luck to Union tonight, and as an RPI fan who dislikes Minnesota as much as Union, Cornell, BC... I am both cheering for your team and against them at the same time. So, there's that. Yeah.

Congratulations Union. To beat BC and Minnesota to win the championship is awfully impressive. I think they were the best team at the Frozen Four, and the perseverance that your group showed after getting down early to both the Eagles and the Gophers was very impressive. When I go back through and update my "greatest teams of all-time" thread, I'm thinking that Union will have a shot at cracking the top 25...maybe even higher. One of the better teams I've seen in my nearly 30 years of watching college hockey. Nobody will ever be able to take this away from you, and celebrate your hearts out...you've earned it.
