UVM committed several dumb penalties, including a trip behind the Union net. Union capitalized in special teams play, which was a factor in our win. UVM has a very good team and McCarthy is a stud. Best of luck to you guys next year.

You do realize Burlington is closer to Montreal than Albany (Schenectady) right?

Congratulations to UC for punching an ECAC ticket to Philly. I'll have to put aside my dislike for you guys in a week and a half. At least it isn't QU. ;)

Congrats Union. 4th ECAC team to make the Frozen Four in the last 3 years. I think the EZAC rep can finally be retired for the conference.

Easy there fella... I can see the western posts already. "It took the #1 team in the ECAC getting two lower HEA teams to get to the FF." Or maybe "They had to construct a regional without western teams for the ECAC to get a team in."

No worries though... we like being the underdogs.

Having been at both Lake Placid and Bridgeport and not to diminsh the great play of Vermont and PC, but IMO, Cornell and Colgate who we faced in the ECAC tournament, were a lot tougher for us. Neither HE team hit us as hard as Cornell and neither was as fast as Colgate. IMO Cornell or Colgate could have beaten them both as well.

I hope we get another shot at BC.

Would you prefer the trend continues? Correct me if I am wrong, but it does show in your sig that you are a fan of an ECAC school.

Not unbelievable. You have a terrific team that plays a structured system with two dynamic D in Gostisbehere and Bodie. You put a lot of pressure on the other team in the offensive zone because of the aforementioned D. I hope you guys take it all in Philly.

This. Union is the #1 team in the country and they have earned it. They are a well-balanced team with talent and effort in every zone. This isn't a Cinderella run, it's a national favorite taking care of business.

Good luck to the Dutchmen in the Frozen Four. We are rooting for you to make it two in a row for the ECAC.

"Unbelievable" was in reference to how far this program has come these past 5 years. I'm hoping this is the year we get it done.

Very different feeling making the Frozen Four this year vs. 2012.

Any tips by anyone about logistics for the Wells Fargo Center in Philidelphia? It's on 3601 South Broad Street. I bought my tickets on line. Will it be a sellout? Looks like a lot of the hotels nearby are booked solid. The first game is Thursday, the 10th and I think at 5:00pm and the final is Saturday, the 12th. This is the home of the Philidelphia Flyers. Are they going to let Ghost leave after Union finishes? :)
