Ghost truly is a special talent. However, where he feels he will develop best for the NHL will be key to his decision making. Although he could have turned it up a couple of notches in the Bridgeport Regional, he did a great job of playing within himself. Sometimes when he presses, he can get into trouble with turnovers. Looking at both games, there was never any time in either game that I felt he needed to take charge because the game was in jeopardy......someone else stepped up. There are so many contributors on the Union team. Good luck in Philly!!

in fairness he was caught up ice several times, couple times on one shift alone early. Union rotates so well it isnt glaring. Bodie had a shuft yesterday in first where you would have sworn he was playing F.

very fun to watch. puck skills are exceptional

Congrats to Union. Since my team was eliminated yesterday I am pulling for you in the frozen four. I was impressed by your team two years ago when we played you in Tampa and am excited by the chance to see you win the whole thing.

Thanks Ferris. Glad to have you cheering with us and glad we don't have to face you again :)

Great press for Gotisbehere during Bruins/Flyers game just now. People seem to be hard on Pierre and Doc but they do a great job promoting college hockey and I honestly have no problem with the job they do. Especially after listening to the buffoons ESPN dragged out this weekend.

"Dartmouth Coach Bob Gaudet spoke with Hearst Connecticut Media about the strengths of each team and who will emerge victorious this weekend and head to the Frozen Four (April 10, 12 in Philadelphia)."

NCAA hockey: Scouting the East Region

Dartmouth played all four teams in the NCAA East Region this season -- Union, Quinnipiac, Providence and Vermont. Coach Bob Gaudet spoke with Hearst Connecticut Media about the strengths of each team and who will emerge victorious this weekend and head to the Frozen Four (April 10, 12 in Philadelphia).

Who wins: "I think Union does. It's a bit of a front-running opinion, but they're the number one team in the country right now and they've been consistent throughout the season. They've done their job night in and night out and they've created that gap. They've won the league (ECAC) and they won the (league) tournament. It's a very, very tough league. It's the third year in a row (they've done that). They've been knocking on the door and it's not going to be an easy process to get out of that regional. But pressed, I would pick them."

Good weekend at Regional. I thought both of Union's opponents were quality. Fans from all four schools came in numbers which was nice to see. What strikes me about Union is how deep the team is and how many ways they can beat you.

I'd wish you good luck, but I'm not sure you need it.
I just hope that Leaman can repeat what he did with you people at PC.

BC vs UNION

How sweet it is. Settle this thing once and for all.

Hey Dutchmen, this UNH fan will be rooting for you to go all the way at the Frozen Four. You clearly showed you were better than UVM and PC, (either of which, frankly speaking, I would have preferred to have advanced to the FF over you.)

Be that as it may, I hope that you beat BC and then NoDak or Minny (assuming they win tonight.) This would be your first NC, am I correct? The other 3 teams have had their share of success with national championships. It's time to have yours. Go Dutchmen!

Good luck Dutchmen vs. BC. Carry the flag for the ECAC and make it two NCs in a row. Been watching all the games this weekend and IMHO Union is in another galaxy from the remaining teams. Should be no trouble in Phillie for you guys.

Thank you, goblue, we greatly value your support and those of any and all of your fantastic UNH fans. For us, playing against BC again, well ... it will be something very very special ;)

Vermont's Sneddon 'Shocked' by Union Player Sentiment
http://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2014/03/28_vermonts_sneddon_shocked.php

But on Friday evening after Union defeated Vermont 5-2, Bodie was one of the Dutchmen who thanked Sneddon for everything he did at Union.
“I thought it was a pretty classy move,” Sneddon said after the loss.

“I just said thanks for everything you’ve accomplished at Union. He came in at a real tough spot and he was the first one to really get that program moving in the right direction,” Bodie said. “I’m grateful for what he did for us and I just thought it was important that he heard from current players.”

Just what you would expect from the Captain .... a pretty classy guy. :)

Re: 2013-2014 Union Dutchmen - Can U Three Peat? (Part II)

I haven't seen much of the other teams play, but Union is so quick, Colgate is the only team that I have seen that could pretty much skate with them. We ran out of gas after the two OT game vs Q-Pac. I think Union is a totally complete team with NO weaknesses. BC looked to me much slower for the most part and some big forwards that really aren't as quick, maybe fast if they are allowed to skate but I think the smaller quicker forwards of Union will be all over them. I can't wait to see the game, wish it was this weekend. Go U !!!!!
