Congratulations. You guys have a really, really strong team. I was very impressed. Best team won. Good luck the rest of the way.

Great job Union! You represent the ECAC with class. Keep it rolling!

Workmanlike win today. UVM tried to win the only way they could by being extremely physical, but the strategy failed. Union scored every way possible except penalty shot, with even strength, shorthanded, power play and empty net goals. Colin was solid but did not need to be spectacular.

PC played a nearly perfect game in beating Q and will be a tough foe, but these games are supposed to be tough and our experience will hopefully be a big plus. It will be a big emotional game too with Nate Leaman behind the PC bench.

Happy to be spending another night on the road. Hoping one more road trip is in the offing.

It's up to you guys to represent the ECAC. With my team out, I'm rooting for you guys the rest of the way. It should be an interesting game tomorrow (Rick Bennett vs. Nate Leaman), and I will be watching it on TV tomorrow afternoon.

Keep it up, fellas. Was very cool to read the boys each thanked Coach Sneddon after the game for getting the program started to where it is today. Great example that y'all have some fine young men in that locker room.

Two observations from yesterday's game. First, your D jumps into the play in the offensive zone more than any other college team I have watched over the past twenty years. It's amazing to see Bodie, Carr and Gostisbehere push the puck and transition the way they do so consistently. Credit to Bennett for recognizing and supporting that style of play.

Second and I think this is what won you the game, you support the puck so well in both zones. UVM had little or no room to maneuver and was constantly having to battle two or three Dutchmen just to get the puck into space or to make a play. Really impressive how fluid and seamless you system is and it plays to the strengths of the players.

I don't know if Gostibehere is planning to return; IMHO, he is ready for the NHL although he could stand to hit the weight room. Flyer fans are really going to enjoy watching him in the years to come.

Good luck today against PC.

Congrats to union on dispatching the cats. They were (disappointingly to me) the better team. I'd root for you against PC, but I can't stand the flopping that I saw against the cats. Maybe it's your proximity to Montreal? Watching dives aka the Canadiens?

Glad a fan of a different league saw it. Better be careful, you pointed out something bad about the Dutchman, Mat Bodie or Rick Bennett might come after you.
