I too was surprised by this, she was in the All- Star game at the NDC. I bet that it's a NESCAC thing, which I think is totally cool. I will say that imo (if HUX allows me to have one) she is better than some of the other D1 recruits on this board.

Most teams carry 20+ so doesn't seem totally out of line. What would a D3 "buy out plan" look like? :confused:

A voucher for five free skate sharpenings, three rolls of tape (white, black, and clear), a pair of laces and skate woobies.

UWRF's has cut down their roster size and word is he (Cranston) will keep it around 19-20 skaters.
How about an Early Retirement plan...with no benifits.

Could be Cranston knows now of a few not coming back. There often are kids who quit to study abroad, transfer, do clinicals for nursing or student teaching for education, or just have more free time. I think that depends on the program, but it seems like many lose 2 or 3 every year.

It seems like Cranston does this yearly. He doesn't seem to keep players around that aren't contributing to the team. He brings in 8 or 9 recruits....4 of them pan out...the other 4 are gone next year...etc.

Yeah, we believe in the buddy system...three at Manhattanville, two at Vermont, three from various years at Syracuse, two at BU this year, etc. ;)
