Re: 2013-14 Schedules Thread

Opening series for 4 teams on Thanksgiving and the second MSU/UM series during Spring Break? Sounds like there'll be a great student atmosphere!

Re: 2013-14 Schedules Thread

You have CC listed as a confirmed opponent for BU, I'm under the impression that game wasn't happening this year?

Re: 2013-14 Schedules Thread

In a radio interview today Anastos said Ferris vs MSU will possibly be on the schedule. I've heard this rumor elsewhere that it would be the Hall of Fame game at Van Andel, so it would not count against the exemption. Outside of that not much news.

MSU hockey's twitter today said the schedule was close to completed, just needed to "dot some i's and cross some t's". But they still have four slots open.

Re: 2013-14 Schedules Thread

From the Colgate thread:

Anyways, since folks are wondering, here's what was on the program at the awards banquet in terms of the tentative slate for next year...

10/5 - 10/6 - vs. Ferris State

10/18 - 10/19 - at Bowling Green
10/25 - 10/26 - vs. St. Cloud State
11/1 - vs. Princeton (Silver Puck Weekend)

11/22 - vs. Brown
11/23 - vs. Yale
12/14 - 12/15 - vs. Massachusetts
1/3 - 1/4 - at Minnesota (Mariucci Classic)
1/11 - vs. Vermont
1/17 - at Dartmouth
1/18 - at Harvard

Re: 2013-14 Schedules Thread

From the Colgate thread:

Think that last series should be reversed. Cornell's thread on ELynah has Harvard playing them on 3/1 for their senior night - unless NBCSN got the game moved so that it could air on Friday night. It also gels with the typical ECACHL pattern of flipping the order of opponents around per series. Colgate gets Dartmouth 1st on road, so they get them 2nd at home. http://elf.elynah.com/read.php?1,182421

It's possible that it was moved. I'm going to keep the ECAC released schedule as is for the time being (minus the listing for your game that is the Saturday before the Beanpot, of course), but if you happen to know if NBC Sports has released a television schedule for college hockey, that would be helpful. Granted, it's possible that NBC will only be showing Hockey East this year due to their associated contracts.

No TV schedule yet. I'd be pretty disappointed if both of our games against Cornell were on Fridays - even if it meant them being on TV, it would definitely mean I wasn't going. And since I've been to 12 of the last 14 dating back to the semis in '08 that would be unfortunately as I was hoping to at least make the trip to Ithaca this year. Although I'm not really sure I want Harvard to have any part of Cornell's senior night either.
