Tonight's lines. Connor Clifton still out with injury. Brooks Robinson in meaning both Soren Jonzzon, Zach Lucyzk and Matt Lemire are scratched. Joe Fiala in the lineup. Brayden Sherbinin in at 4th line forward.

Good win tonight over Clarkson. Gives us a little more separation from them. Another big scoring effort again. Not a great power play tonight. Game was very chippy with lots of penalties. Onto St. Lawrence who beat up Princeton 7-1 tonight. Need a great defensive effort tomorrow night. I'll be heading to Hamden for this one.

Really good night for Peca. Maybe he's finally finding his stride. Hibbs play tough all night and BVB was once again a major factor. They seem to be playing with a lot of confidence (scoring 2 in the first 1:14 can be inspiring). I thought Garteig was good but I think he wants the 2nd goal back. The 1st and 3rd goals weren't his fault and he made a few big saves in the 3rd.
Rest up and wait for the Saints to come marching in...
We were great in the 1st but came out flat in the 2nd. Found it again midway through and I thought we carried the 3rd. Some rough edges but overall a good effort.
I have to say this is the 1st time I can remember Chip MacDonald calling a pro-Q game. Lynch was inconsistent all night but Chip was fair. A few questionable calls and the no-goal ruling was absurd.
It was for sure. A huge 2 points.
Clarkson started using their size advantage in a bad way. We took a few liberties of our own as well. Could have been much worse but I think the refs kept a close eye on things.

Tonight they need to come out and play. SLU always plays us tough and we can't afford to give them any advantage. Garteig will need lots of support out front and the D is going to have to neutralize the Carey's. Offensively they need to pepper the net with rubber. Most importantly, they need to stay out of the box and not let the Saint's nations-best power play have any chance.

He's quietly having a great season. Many of us thought he would be better, but he has come into his own lately. Gutsy little guy who's not afraid to mix it up, and usually shows a lot of hustle.

Didn't play well enough to win regardless of that awful interference call. The last 3 penalties show that the refs knew they made the wrong call and tried to make up for it but once again we didn't play well enough. On to the whale Friday. See everyone there

Well, to be fair, the calls at the end of the game were pretty bad as well. We capitalized on our lucky break and Quinnipiac didn't. Those are the breaks in this game. Regardless, should be a fun rematch in Canton in a few weeks

I was impressed with how well our goalie played tonight, he played his best game of the year without question! The entire team really played great as well. We seem to have turned the corner and are back the team we all knew we could be. Good time to turn that corner ...

Is this a new hockey rule I haven't heard about yet?
That's not why they lost, though. Four posts hit, I think it was. Hockey happens.
I am starting to get concerned with the up-and-down nature of this team. Too hot and cold. So much potential, but they'll never reach it playing this way. Need to up the energy level, bigtime.

I made my feelings clear on the SLU thread. QPac got away with a lot of picks and interference all night. I counted 9 picks that should have been called. It's Kharma that it was finally called on one that could have gone either way and we capitalized. Sorry, your coach is really someone I could never root for....he is a serious tool.

Tough loss but no one to blame but ourselves. Weninger made the saves he needed to but gave up rebounds all night that we didn't capitalize on... never anyone near the net. The four or five posts didn't help either. For whatever reason, we just couldn't get any flow going. I'm not sure being without JST had much to do with that... but something was missing offensively.
