Okay. I remembered wrong. Thank you.

You're welcome. It was one of those sports stories I'll always remember, like reporting on Ed McCaffrey breaking his leg in the Broncos game on 9/10/2001. That story was quickly forgotten that next morning. :(

Re: 2013-14 NHL Season - With a Wing and a Fehr

Apparently his first words after being revived were: "how much time is left in the period?"

Re: 2013-14 NHL Season - With a Wing and a Fehr

Oh, and Daryl Reaugh, Ralph Strangis, and Fox Sports Southwest better be nominated for a broadcast Emmy next year for their work during the delay. The crowd shots, the lack of replays until more was known, and the silence from Daryl and Ralph until they knew more was great.

No blabbing. No guessing what was going on. Just sharing the emotion of the moment.
Especially when you watch the video of the Fischer incident with Daniels and Redmond blabbering on. Real professional job done by Reaugh, Strangis, and FSSW.

So, the dumpster fire rages on in Vancouver... They were up 3-0 on the islanders at the start of the 3rd tonight... The Canucks lost the game 7-4...

If only they had a good goaltender...

So scary to hear about things like the Pevs incident. Best wishes to him and his family.

Also, it's always impressive to see the hockey community pull together in support of things like this. Without a doubt the best overall sport community there is.

Lost in all the news about Peverly..... Tim Thomas is on the Stars now? I totally missed that.

The Calgary Flames have come together to support Matt Stajan and his wife after the day of the their newborn son. :(

You didn't expect him to co-exist with Roberto Luongo, did you? [Insert tire pumping joke here]

Don't forget how good Columbus' broadcast team handled it.

They deserve a local Emmy as well. Nice to see both teams do a great job in handling this.
I know Jeff and Bill and watched them last night. As you said, it was well handled by both crews.

Meanwhile, this morning Warner Wolf mentioned Rich BEVERLEY, LINDSAY Ruff and Darryl "ROWE" at least twice on the Imus show.

Imus is still on the air? (Imus is still alive!?) Warner Wolf is still doing sports? Did I jump in a time machine and go back to the 80's?

At the time of the Calgary-Vancouver brawl, there were people who thought what Tortorella did that night helped his team. Others thought it showed a coach out of control.

Since then, Vancouver is 4-12-1. Playoff hopes almost gone. And increasingly likely, a team that won the Presidents Cup a couple years ago might finish 3rd from bottom in the West.

I listen to him every morning. He is simulcast on TV on Fox Business News or you can listen to him outside of NYC on iHeartRadio on 77WABC or on a lot of syndicated channels around the country. Not as crazy as he was when he was drinking and drugging. His old newsreader and sidekick, Charles McCord, retired a few years ago.

For us long suffering Islander fans, a pretty good video about the Vanek trade was recently put out.

Hawks v. Flyers tonight.

Had never seen this before of the Cup winning goal taken from behind the glass by a Flyers fan. Worth the view.

:D

"Where's the puck?" "What happened?"

"They won."

"What?" "What the fick happened?"

"What?" "What happened?"

I wonder if there's ever been that kind of extended confusion after a Cup-winning goal. And these guys were right on top of it. Great stuff.
