Flames holding a 10am presser. Rumor mill circulating Burkie may be involved in it. Maybe a hockey ops position or something.

Blackhawks won the Cup and they're also winning the offseason locking up Bicks, Crow and Hjalmarrrsssson.

Dynasty

Somebody check on EODS!

I want Chicago to lock them up. With way too much money. That interferes with their ability to compete in a salary cap system.

"He continues to keep the core of his team together and he's got good contracts," NHL Network analyst and former general manager Craig Button told NHL.com. "I think they're in position now to be that team for the next five, six, maybe seven years, somewhere in that range, that is in the conversation as Stanley Cup contenders. Can they win two, three, four, five? I don't know. But I do know that they're positioned perfectly."

I'm happy... I just am uneasy about Crawford... Locking up goalies seems to have FAIL written all over it :(

And GONGSHOW has a pic of Canada's Olympic jersey up on their Facebook page... That thing is UGLY... I'll take the USA's Union Pacific jersey over that....

ugly isn't strong enough. Nike should be flogged for that mess

Re: 2013-14 NHL Season - With a Wing and a Fehr

Nike has lost sight of the fact that there were plenty of ugly jerseys back in the day. Going "retro" does not mean it will be good.

In case you can't find it..

Looks like the best jersey will be from Europe...

Re: 2013-14 NHL Season - With a Wing and a Fehr

Like the USA jersey, it's a good idea completely undone by unnecessary Nike stupidity. Why have the white on one arm and not the other? Why the fake laces? Why does it look so thin and cheap?

Re: 2013-14 NHL Season - With a Wing and a Fehr

I don't have much of a problem with them being so thin, I'm sure they are comfortable to play in. Besides, they'll look more substantial with pads on.
