Isn't Heatley being gone after this year a virtual lock?

The Clutterbuck tidbit is surprising to me too, but it just shows how little us fans really know about what goes on inside a lockerroom.

I like the idea of getting Stepan, I'm very meh on Vanek.

I hope it is the right players that carry influence. Not sure how much I like that.

Hopefully they will move the team to that Communist nation up North. I know how eager Tim will be to play there.

We're really not far from the NHL writing a catch-all rule like NASCAR's 12-4-A: "Actions detrimental to stock car racing."

It's carte blanche in NASCAR to cover any of the creative gray area teams use to their advantage and punish them.

Does that mean if George Parros screws up, NASCAR can suspend Danica Patrick? :)

The better question is: if that rule exists in NASCAR why hasn't NASCAR used it to keep Danica Patrick off the racetrack? She's obviously a hazard to anyone without a concrete barrior between them and the car she's driving.

She doesn't take anyone with her. She just rides around with an in-car camera giving the viewer an idea of what the racing for 31st is like.
