MN-UND will face each other for the right to lose to BC in a couple weeks.

I'm setting the over/under on bad calls tomorrow at 8.5.

With far superior talent, last weekend's disaster, and home ice, if the gophers don't win tomorrow you have to wonder how long it will take for the program to recover.

It's not home ice. NHL sheet (instead of Olympic) and just three games played there in the last four seasons combined make the X anything but home ice for the Gophers. The only advantages MN has playing there are lack of travel and partisan crowd support - and against UND, both of those are very marginal.

Don't like seeing quality programs like BU go out of the tournament but obviously as a Gophers it was preferred in this case. Good luck to you all next year.

Should be a 50/50 crowd tomorrow. Should be a crazy atmosphere..for a regional anyways.

Good luck Gophers. Thanks to each and every BU player, coach, manager, trainer, etc who finished the season. No hardware but I'll blame that more on those that left than those who remained. Those who remained played hard and didn't quit.
Lots of problems ths year and a lot of people who played and coached through those problems.

Poster on GPL is reporting that the UND line chart distributed in the press box had the indianhead logo in the upper corner.

Not that I necessarily WANT the Gophers to get forfeited in to the Frozen Four... :D

Agreed. Lots of respect for the players who stayed and their compete level with all that happened.

If that was the case the Gophers would play Western Michigan tomorrow. Of course, that is not the case.

It should be a great matchup...I'm expecting a game similar to the Saturday night at Mariucci or Friday Night at the Ralph...tight, low scoring game. That being said, Minnesota is the favorite. Hopefully the Sioux are able to play well and let the cards fall where they may. If North Dakota wants to win, they will need to play significantly better than they did this afternoon.
