Exactly.
They called the penalty, reviewed it, and then said "no penalty." That's what I got from the RedZone, anyway.

The review was to see if he stepped out of bounds. Which he didn't. Since the penalty wasn't reviewable, the TD counted.

no they picked the flag after talking, more than likely a mistaken flag was thrown on a legal hit, which was appropriately picked up...but the actual penalty was missed.

I'm not as doom and gloom as apparently most are about the Vikings. Yeah, they still suck, but there were some things from that game that give me a little hope that they might build into something decent in the future. Ponder didn't look bad in the 2nd half, Smith seems like he'll be a good safety and Kalil looks like he belongs. It wasn't nearly as hopeless as some of the games last year made me feel.

I think we were all fine, actually. I was up at 8am, then crashed until 10am since no one else was up.
Looks like Big Ben has fell in love with Heath again. He's having a decent game.

3rd down defense was pretty bad all game, but overall I didn't think the defense was as bad as I thought they were going to be. Yeah, it was against a pretty crappy team, but a win is a win. AP looked tentative the first part of the game, but got better and more aggressive as the game went on.
