Revis out for the year with a torn ACL. That should take care of any hope the Jets had.

Doubtful. Belichick is a smug dink who still would've went after the refs even if it had been reviewed. Wilfork would've gone nuts no matter what because it was immediately after the play. It was his reaction to the play. Perhaps it should be reviewable but in this case it would not have made a difference as the FG was good by any unbiased eye.

You're right, to call a kick like that live isn't easy. But, there's no camera angle that can show it conclusively to justify a review. Front and back views, you don't know where it crossed the plane. Anything from the side you can't tell if it's between the upright. The only view is the one the official has right underneath.

Wow, Vince Young is out the league after 6 years? Also, he is apparently broke and in default on a loan.

You know you are having a tough time when you can't cut it as the Bills backup QB.

I'll grant you Wilfork, but as loathsome as Belichick can be, he doesn't berate refs like a lot of coaches.

I need 20 points and change from Lynch and Cobb tonight. Not a layup, but not beyond the realm of possibility either. (Thank you Jamaal Charles for enabling my team to even make it a contest.)

Was he in charge when they took Mario Williams over Reggie Bush? Because there was a huge uproar over that as well. FWIW, both those guys have had pretty good NFL careers. Bush hasn't reached superstar status that was expected of him, but he's still had a good career and really came on strong at the end of last year into the start of this year.

I'm over it, I've calmed down. The Pats lost because of their paper mache defense and their bizarre offensive play calling at key moments, regardless of the United Nations of flags last night.

Still ready for the NBA/ECAC level of officiating to be done with. Sigh.

But the way things were going, there was going to be second double reverse play to Edelman in the offing...
