part of game I don't think has gotten enough pub...the 49'ers management of the 1st half clock...wasting 50% of the remaining time when they had 2 timeouts left and kicking a FG instead of getting a TD...think those 4 possible points could have come in handy later? In light of their performance on the 2pt'er and the last 4 plays at the goal line...the staff did a poor job managing the clock and calling plays which increased the odds the rookie would have things moving too fast for him to make the optimal decisions/throws.

My Super Bowl Recap:

All of the singers were terrible. The National Anthem was godawful, and the halftime show was brutally bad. Bring back Prince. The game was much better than it should have been, after how the 1st half went. I was pleasantly surprised how entertaining it was in the second half. I thought overall the commercials were worse than usual. There were some that were still pretty good. I laughed at the Doritos Goat commercial, and I thought the Oreos whisper fight was OK. I really liked the Budweiser baby clydesdale one, even though it wasn't supposed to be comedic. I missed the Farmers commercial, but I want to find that online today. The Willem DaFoe as Satan commercial was excellent...can't think of any others, but there were a few others that I thought were decent.

Seems the distribution of commercials used to mean 1-3 clunkers, a lot in the middle and several really good ones. I think you correctly point out that the distribution was reversed yesterday...1-3 good ones, a lot in the middle and several really bad ones.

Did that Kate Upton one for Mercedes get shown? The one with her with the car wash? I only saw the one with Willem Dafoe.

I think my favorite commercial was the M&M one early on where he was singing "I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)". I agree with the Oreos, the Bud Clydesdale, and I also like the Baby planet. The Doritos with the guys playing dress up and the wife coming home saying "Is that my wedding dress?" was good too. I didn't think the National Anthem was bad, I kinda liked it. My wife really liked the halftime show but I didn't. The game got entertaining at the end but I had a splitting headache and fell asleep before the game ended. Too bad the Ravens won, but now I won't have to hear about Ray Lewis again.

The funniest one was the Church of Scientology one (I think it may have been local though). Not that it was funny in and of itself, but just the fact that there was one. Who do they think they are, Mormons? :D
